I’m Laura Vanhapelto – a somatic, trauma-informed Love & Empowerment Coach, Women’s Sexuality Coach, and TRE® Provider.

My work is rooted in the understanding that lasting change doesn’t come from forcing growth or fixing ourselves, but from developing deeper self-awareness, safety, and compassion within the body. I support women in reconnecting with themselves through gentle, body-based practices that help integrate trauma, dismantle old conditioning, and rebuild trust in their own inner experience.

My background includes extensive training in tantric-based sexuality coaching, which informs how I work with intimacy, pleasure, and embodiment – through a grounded, integrative approach that honors the body, emotions, and sexuality as natural and meaningful parts of being human. This perspective is woven together with somatic science, nervous-system awareness, and trauma-informed care.

At the heart of my work is respect for each woman’s unique pace and process. I offer a calm, supportive space where self-knowledge, self-love, and embodied empowerment can grow organically – in a way that feels real, sustainable, and deeply personal.

My Journey

My life hasn’t followed a single, linear path. I’m a mother of two grown children, a creative at heart, and a 59-year-old woman who explores this human experience with curiosity and passion.

I love music and movement, and the beauty of being a sensual, energetic shapeshifter. I am a free spirit and a recovering perfectionist who lives between flow and reflection.

I’ve lived in five countries, built four businesses, and spent three decades as a creative entrepreneur. I’ve experienced love and heartbreak, stress, burnout, social anxiety, and even cancer. Life has carried me through both challenge and joy – and the ongoing process of finding my way back to myself.

Breaking Point

For years, I lived disconnected from myself – always doing, achieving, pleasing, and holding everything together. I looked fine on the outside, but inside I was overwhelmed and drifting. I didn’t even know what I truly wanted. I only knew I wasn’t happy, and something had to change.

In 2014, a major separation became the breaking point that shook the foundation of my life. It forced me to face difficult questions: Who was I beneath all the roles? What did I truly want? What was I no longer willing to carry? I realized how much of myself I had lost trying to meet others’ expectations.

What followed wasn’t an overnight transformation, but the beginning of a slow, profound rebuilding. I let go of identities and patterns that kept me small. I faced old fears and long-buried trauma. I learned to listen to my body, to set boundaries, and to choose what nourishes me – love, joy, authenticity, and purpose.

For a long time, I was capable and outwardly successful – while quietly disconnected from myself, stressed, exhausted and unhappy.

At 59, I feel more at home in myself than ever before. And looking back, I see how much gentler life might have been with more self-trust and compassion.
